Emcee - On 25th April 2026, the Hock Tyre Group (HT Group) and Varta came together to host the HT Group - Varta Appreciation Dinner at Furama Riverfront (Havelock) on Level 3, celebrating their valued customers and business partners. This event was held to express gratitude to the customers who have consistently supported both brands, particularly recognising the strong partnership between HT Group, a leading tyre and automotive solutions provider in Singapore, and Varta, a renowned manufacturer of automotive batteries under Clarios. As guests arrived in smart casual attire, emcee Shirleen warmly welcomed the 220 attendees, mostly customers, and encouraged everyone to like the Varta Singapore Facebook page, hinting at special surprises later in the evening without revealing the details.

Emcee Shirleen then announced the winners of the Facebook likes game, honouring the 8th, 18th, 28th, and 38th persons who had liked the page. Following that, Mr. Leonard Tay, General Manager of HT Group Singapore, delivered an appreciative speech, after which a representative from Varta also addressed the audience. The emcee then guided the prize presentation for the Top Purchaser 2025 awards, where ten recipients received their prizes from Mr. Leonard Tay and the Varta representative, followed by a group photo that included everyone present.

As dinner commenced, the emcee reminded guests that the sales counter would close at 8pm. Later, a presentation by a personnel from Clarios (Varta’s parent company) took place, complete with a Q&A session where three to five questions were answered. The emcee then oversaw the lucky draw, which brought excitement to the room, before proceeding to engaging games such as a drinking game replay for ten participants and a beat game displayed on screen, with plenty of prizes awarded.

After a short break, the emcee continued with another segment of the lucky draw, followed by a game of Q&A focused on the Varta Facebook page. Later in the evening, the top sales performers of the night were recognised with a prize presentation for ten winners. The emcee facilitated a toasting session between the HT Group team and the Varta team, leading up to the grand draw for the top three prizes, presented by Mr. Leonard Tay. Finally, the emcee bid everyone good night, bringing the appreciation dinner to a warm and successful close.
