Emcee Ivan Hosts Mrs Singapore World 2026 Grand Finals in Singapore

On 10 October 2026, the Grand Ballroom at Orchid Country Club welcomed 13 finalists, distinguished guests, sponsors, family members and supporters for the Mrs Singapore World 2026 Grand Finals.
I had the pleasure of co-hosting this special evening alongside Karine, guiding the audience through a celebration of confidence, talent, personal achievement and generosity.
As a professional emcee in Singapore, I have hosted many different types of events, each with its own atmosphere and expectations. Mrs Singapore World 2026 was particularly meaningful because it combined the excitement of a grand finals competition with a strong commitment to charitable giving.
Beyond the beautiful gowns, stage performances and crowning ceremony, the evening celebrated women who had stepped forward to challenge themselves, embrace new experiences and make a positive difference in the community.
Celebrating Confidence, Beauty and Personal Achievement
Mrs Singapore World was more than a beauty pageant. It provided a platform for married women to celebrate their individuality, talents, life experiences and contributions to society.
The 13 finalists had undertaken a journey that included grooming sessions, talent showcases, sponsor activities, culinary competitions and rehearsals.
These experiences offered opportunities to develop confidence, build friendships, improve stage presentation skills and discover personal strengths.
By the time the Grand Finals arrived, the contestants had already demonstrated courage and commitment by taking part in the competition.
The evening was therefore not simply about who would receive the crown. It was also an opportunity to recognise the effort, determination and personal growth of every finalist.
ERM Singapore and the Purpose Behind Mrs Singapore World
The event was organised by ERM Singapore Marketing Pte Ltd, led by its President, Ms Angela Tay.
ERM Singapore organises pageants and related activities that bring together contestants, sponsors and community partners. Through platforms such as Mrs Singapore World, participants are given opportunities to develop confidence, showcase their abilities and take part in meaningful experiences.
One of the most important aspects of Mrs Singapore World was its emphasis on Beauty with a Heart.
This philosophy encouraged contestants to look beyond personal achievement and consider how they could contribute positively to society.
The 2026 Grand Finals reflected that message by celebrating not only talent and elegance but also generosity, compassion and community involvement.
Welcoming Distinguished Guests and Celebrating the Finalists
The evening began with a red-carpet welcome for distinguished guests, judges, sponsors and former titleholders.
Among the distinguished guests was Ms Elysa Chen, Adviser to Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC Grassroots Organisations, who attended as the Guest of Honour.
The event also welcomed Ms Angela Tay, President of ERM Singapore, and Ms Veronica Lee, Mrs Singapore World 2024 and Organising Chairperson of Mrs Singapore World 2026.
With guests gathered in the ballroom, the finalists took to the stage for their opening dance and self-introductions.
It was an exciting introduction to the personalities and stories behind the competition.
Throughout the evening, the contestants participated in different presentations designed to showcase their confidence, stage presence, talents and individuality.
The talent showcase featured finalists Soo See Ann, Jasmine Koh and Lu Jia, while the swimwear and evening wear presentations added further variety to the programme.
Special awards also recognised achievements in areas including personality, elegance, talent, family support and community involvement.
Together, these moments highlighted the many different qualities celebrated by the pageant.
Beauty with a Heart: Supporting SHINE Children & Youth Services
One of the most meaningful aspects of Mrs Singapore World 2026 was its support for SHINE Children & Youth Services.
SHINE is a Singapore social service organisation dedicated to helping children and young people develop confidence, resilience and the skills to navigate life's challenges.
The organisation celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2026, marking five decades of work supporting children, youth and families.
Through the pageant's charitable initiatives, the finalists and ERM Singapore raised S$28,399.26 in support of SHINE Children & Youth Services.
The evening recognised these contributions through awards including Goodwill Queen, Beauty with a Heart and Charity Queen.
A cheque presentation also formed part of the programme, highlighting the charitable purpose behind the celebration.
For me, this was an important reminder that events can be about much more than entertainment.
A well-organised celebration can also bring people together to recognise meaningful causes, encourage generosity and create greater awareness of organisations serving the community.
Hosting Mrs Singapore World 2026 as Emcee Ivan
Co-hosting the Mrs Singapore World 2026 Grand Finals with Karine was an opportunity to be part of a programme that brought together formal presentations, entertainment, competition and heartfelt recognition.
A pageant Grand Finals requires careful coordination because each segment has a different purpose and atmosphere.
There are moments when the audience should feel excitement and anticipation. Other moments call for a more composed and respectful approach, particularly when introducing distinguished guests or recognising charitable contributions.
Throughout the evening, our hosting responsibilities included welcoming guests and judges, introducing the finalists, guiding the special awards presentations and facilitating the Top 5 question-and-answer segment.
Clear communication and smooth transitions were important in helping the audience follow the programme while ensuring that each finalist received the attention she deserved.
For an event emcee in Singapore, adaptability is an essential part of live hosting.
The atmosphere of a competition differs from that of an awards ceremony, charity presentation or corporate dinner. When these elements are brought together in one programme, the emcee must be able to adjust the delivery to suit each occasion.
Mrs Singapore World 2026 was a good example of how professional event hosting involves more than making announcements. It also involves understanding the significance of each segment and helping the programme progress naturally.
The Top 5 Finalists and the Crowning Ceremony
As the Grand Finals moved towards its conclusion, attention turned to the announcement of the Top 5 finalists.
Each finalist participated in a question-and-answer segment, providing an opportunity to express her thoughts, share her personal platform and demonstrate confidence in front of the audience.
This was an important part of the competition because it allowed the finalists to communicate beyond their stage presentations.
The programme also featured a performance by Phoenix, the ERM Queens, before the final coronation.
The crowning ceremony marked the culmination of the finalists' preparation and dedication.
While the evening celebrated the eventual titleholder, it also recognised the achievements of all 13 women who had taken part in the journey.
Their participation reflected the confidence, determination and willingness to embrace new challenges that Mrs Singapore World sought to encourage.
A Meaningful Evening at Orchid Country Club
Looking back, Mrs Singapore World 2026 was an evening that brought together entertainment, personal achievement and community spirit.
From the opening introductions and talent performances to the charitable recognition and crowning ceremony, the celebration offered many memorable moments.
What made the event especially meaningful was the message behind it: confidence and beauty can be expressed through character, resilience, kindness and the willingness to help others.
It was a pleasure to share the stage with Karine and contribute to the hosting of this special occasion.
Congratulations to all 13 finalists, ERM Singapore, the organising committee, sponsors and everyone who contributed to Mrs Singapore World 2026.
The evening was a celebration not only of individual achievement but also of the positive impact that people can make when they come together for a meaningful purpose.
