On 28th July 2026, Emcee Singapore, represented by Emcee Ivan, had the privilege of hosting the SKH Nurses' Day 2026 celebration at the Sengkang Hospital Auditorium. The meaningful event brought together nurses, healthcare professionals and hospital leaders to honour the unwavering dedication, compassion and resilience of the nursing community. Guests were warmly welcomed by distinguished VIPs including Deputy Group Chief Nurses Ms Ng Gaik Nai and Ms Christina Lim, Chief Nurse Dr Loh Huey Peng, and Chief Executive Officer Professor Teo Eng Kiong, whose presence reflected the hospital's strong commitment to recognising its nursing workforce.

This year's celebration carried the inspiring theme, "Strength in Stride, Impact in Every Tide," highlighting the courage, resilience and lasting impact that nurses make every single day. Emcee Singapore helped guide the audience through a programme that celebrated not only professional excellence but also the strong bonds shared among colleagues. The event featured an energetic opening performance by the Dauntless Nurse Renegades (DNR), followed by inspiring speeches from Chief Nurse Dr Loh Huey Peng and Chief Executive Officer Professor Teo Eng Kiong, who expressed their appreciation for the dedication and professionalism demonstrated by SKH nurses throughout the year.
A key highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of the MOH Nurses' Merit Awards and the prestigious Chief Nurse Award, recognising nurses who have demonstrated outstanding performance, exceptional patient care and a commitment to advancing the nursing profession. Emcee Singapore was proud to witness these deserving individuals being celebrated in front of their peers, while the recitation of the Nurses' Pledge served as a heartfelt reminder of the values, integrity and responsibility that define the nursing profession.
Beyond the awards, the celebration showcased the incredible talents of the SKH family through performances by the medical team and the much-anticipated Nurses Unplugged competition, where nursing teams entertained the audience with creative musical and theatrical performances.
