Chinese Swimming Club Staff Appreciation Night 2026: An Oriental Night of Appreciation and Celebration
The Chinese Swimming Club Staff Appreciation Night 2026 was held on 17th August 2026 at Sofitel City Centre, Level 5, bringing together approximately 150 staff members for an evening of appreciation, entertainment and celebration. With the theme “Oriental Night” and a dress code inspired by Modern and Traditional Asian Elegance, the evening created a warm and festive atmosphere while highlighting the important contributions of the people behind the Chinese Swimming Club. Emcee Singapore Ivan hosted the celebration, guiding guests through the evening with a lively and engaging presence.
The Chinese Swimming Club, commonly known as CSC, organises staff appreciation events such as this to recognise the dedication and commitment of its employees across different departments. The Staff Appreciation Night provided an opportunity for CSC to thank its staff for their continued efforts and to celebrate their service milestones, talents and contributions. Emcee Singapore Ivan played an important role in bringing the programme together, helping to create a smooth flow between the formal presentations, performances, games and celebrations.
The evening featured an opening performance by the Heads of Department, followed by the emcee’s opening and a speech by HR Chairman Mr Johnson Ong. Emcee Singapore Ivan then guided guests into the dinner programme before the evening continued with a video featuring new joiners and a special presentation recognising employees who had reached five and ten years of service. The five-year Long Service Awards were presented by HR Chairman Mr Johnson Ong, while the ten-year Long Service Awards were presented by Vice-President (General), Mr Peter Liew. These presentations reflected CSC’s appreciation for employees who have contributed their time and experience to the Club over the years, with Emcee Singapore Ivan providing the announcements and transitions throughout the segment.
Entertainment was a major part of the Oriental Night celebration, with stage games, group activities and the CSC Talent Show bringing plenty of energy to the evening. Four staff groups took part in the talent segment, showcasing their singing and dancing abilities in front of their colleagues. Emcee Singapore Ivan kept the audience engaged as the performers took to the stage, while the judging criteria considered originality or interpretation, presentation and showmanship, talent and effort, as well as audience reception and engagement.
The celebration also included a series of interactive stage games, photo games and a finale game where staff members had opportunities to win vouchers and prizes. A lucky draw was also held as part of the evening’s entertainment, adding another exciting element to the staff appreciation celebration. Emcee Singapore Ivan helped maintain the excitement and momentum as staff participated in the various activities, making the event feel more like a shared celebration among colleagues.
Another highlight was the Best Dressed segment, which complemented the Oriental Night theme and encouraged guests to embrace the Modern and Traditional Asian Elegance dress code. The Best Dressed awards were presented by Club Captain Mr Dick Lee. Emcee Singapore Ivan invited the contestants and audience to take part in the voting before moving the programme towards the next stage of the celebration.
The CSC Talent Hunt awards were presented by Vice-President (Finance), Mr Jonathon Kuah, recognising the staff who stood out during the talent showcase. The event also included a special $1,000 cash prize sponsored by Club President Mr Victor Chia as a gesture of generosity and appreciation towards the staff of CSC. Emcee Singapore Ivan announced the special recognition and helped bring the awards and entertainment segments together as the evening moved towards its finale.
Overall, the Chinese Swimming Club Staff Appreciation Night 2026 was a meaningful celebration of teamwork, service and staff contributions. From long-service recognition and staff performances to games, lucky draw activities and themed awards, the Oriental Night gave CSC employees an opportunity to enjoy an evening together away from their usual work environment. Emcee Singapore Ivan, as the Emcee Singapore representative for the event, helped create an engaging atmosphere and ensured that the different segments of the programme connected smoothly, making the evening a memorable staff appreciation celebration for the Chinese Swimming Club.
