Allianz Pinnacle Excellence Programme Ceremony, Class of 2026 Celebrates Leadership and Excellence in Singapore
The Allianz Pinnacle Excellence Programme Ceremony, Class of 2026, was held on 12 August 2026 at Pan Pacific Orchard in Singapore, bringing together Allianz leaders, graduates, faculty members and guests for an evening dedicated to recognising achievement, leadership development and professional growth. The event was hosted by emcee Singapore Ivan, who guided guests through the celebration and recognition programme. The ceremony marked the completion of a six-month learning journey for 177 graduates across six markets and 34 study groups, bringing the Class of 2026 together as one regional cohort.
The evening was a celebration of why Allianz continues to invest in its people and the development of future leaders. The Allianz Pinnacle Excellence Programme, or PEP, was created by Allianz Asia Pacific together with INSEAD as a leadership certification specifically designed for life insurance agency leadership. The programme sits under Allianz’s Pinnacle 2030 strategy, with a focus on developing the next generation of agency leaders. As emcee Singapore, Ivan highlighted during the programme, the experience was designed not as a standard executive course, but as a learning journey that connects leadership development directly with the realities of running businesses and agencies.
The Class of 2026 completed the programme over six months, beginning with a two-day in-person kick-off at the INSEAD Asia Campus in Singapore before continuing through self-paced online learning, live faculty webinars, in-person sessions and Action Learning Projects. The programme covered four core areas: Communications, Customer Psychology, Leadership, and Entrepreneurial Mindset & Strategies. These experiences were designed to help participants apply their learning directly to their own agencies and businesses, making the graduation a meaningful milestone in their professional development. The emcee Singapore Ivan also reinforced the idea that the learning journey took place alongside the graduates’ responsibilities of serving clients, leading teams and managing their businesses.
The ceremony also reflected Allianz’s wider role as a global insurance and asset management organisation. Allianz provides insurance and financial solutions to private and corporate customers, including life and health insurance, property and casualty insurance, business insurance, assistance services and asset management solutions. The company operates across nearly 70 countries and focuses on helping customers manage risks, protect what matters to them and prepare for the future. Allianz describes its purpose as “We Secure Your Future,” making investment in capable and confident leaders an important part of supporting customers and communities over the long term.
This connection between people development and Allianz’s wider purpose was an important reason for celebrating the Class of 2026. Strong agency leadership plays an important role in how insurance professionals support customers, develop teams and build sustainable businesses. By giving high-performing agents and leaders access to a programme developed with INSEAD, Allianz is investing in leadership capabilities that can influence not only individual careers but also the future strength of its agency network across Asia Pacific. The emcee Singapore Ivan positioned the evening as more than simply a graduation dinner, describing it as a celebration of people who had taken their learning and turned it into action.
The event welcomed senior Allianz and INSEAD representatives, with VIPs including Ms. Anusha Thavarajah, Regional Chief Executive Officer, Allianz Asia Pacific; Mr. Mohit Bahoria, Regional Chief Strategy, Distribution and Customer Officer, Allianz Asia Pacific; and Allianz Chief Executive Officers and Chief Agency Officers from the participating markets. From INSEAD, the evening also featured Professor Sameer Hasija, Dean of the INSEAD Asia Campus, Professor Haruaki Konishi and Professor James Costantini, Programme Director of the Pinnacle Excellence Programme. The emcee Singapore Ivan introduced and transitioned between the senior leaders and faculty members as they shared their perspectives with the Class of 2026.
The formal programme opened with welcome remarks from emcee Singapore Ivan, followed by an opening address from Ms. Anusha Thavarajah, Regional Chief Executive Officer, Allianz Asia Pacific. Guests then heard reflections from INSEAD before Mr. Mohit Bahoria and Professor James Costantini led a celebratory toast. The evening subsequently moved into the recognition portion of the programme, giving the Class of 2026 their moment to be celebrated for completing the demanding six-month journey.
A special recognition segment was also dedicated to the INSEAD × SheSecures qualifiers. These outstanding female producers and leaders were recognised for being selected for an exclusive INSEAD learning experience, Leading Change Effectively, held on 10 August with Professor Sai Ram Nilgiri. The emcee Singapore Ivan invited the qualifiers to the stage before the evening moved into the main graduation recognition for the Class of 2026.
The graduation recognition was carried out across six markets, with graduates recognised from the Philippines, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Malaysia and Thailand. Graduates came forward for their certificates, handshakes and individual photographs before coming together for market group photographs. The recognition format gave each market an opportunity to celebrate its graduates while highlighting the regional scale of the Allianz Pinnacle Excellence Programme. Throughout the ceremony, emcee Singapore Ivan kept the recognition moving while celebrating the achievements of each group.
The evening concluded with closing words from Professor James Costantini, Senior Affiliate Professor of Strategy and Programme Director of the INSEAD Pinnacle Excellence Programme. The celebration also looked ahead to the next stage of the journey, with the INSEAD Fontainebleau learning experience and summit scheduled for 16 to 20 November 2026. With the contest still open at the time of the ceremony, the emcee positioned Fontainebleau as a continuation of the Class of 2026 journey rather than an ending.
Following the formal recognition, guests continued the celebration with music, a live band and an evening of socialising. For Allianz, the Class of 2026 ceremony was ultimately about recognising achievement while reinforcing a longer-term commitment to leadership, learning and the development of people across its Asia Pacific agency network. As emcee Singapore Ivan helped bring the evening to a close, the message was clear: the graduation marked an important milestone, but it was also the beginning of the next chapter for a new generation of Allianz leaders.
