Emcee Singapore - The Emcee Singapore commenced the final day of IMH Staff Week with an energetic and heartfelt welcome, setting a celebratory atmosphere as staff gathered to honour dedication, teamwork, and service excellence. The morning began with the presentation of the Staff Protection Award, graced by Mr Timothy Liu, Chief Operating Officer. This award recognises exceptional teams who have gone the extra mile to safeguard colleagues by reducing abuse and harassment through effective strategies and collaboration. The Emcee Singapore shared the inspiring efforts of the Social Work Associate Team @ Clinic B, Safeguard Collective, Against All Odds, The Drill Unit, and ES Peacekeepers — each of whom demonstrated courage, unity, and compassion in supporting a safer and more positive workplace environment.
With enthusiasm still high, the emcee introduced the Sayang Award, presented by Ms Rosemary Soong, Chief Human Resource Officer. This meaningful award honours IMH staff who exemplify NHG’s four core values — People-Centredness, Integrity, Compassion, and Stewardship. As the recipients received their awards, the Emcee Singapore highlighted their dedication, empathy, and daily commitment to patient care and teamwork, embodying the true “Sayang” spirit of IMH. The hall was filled with applause and joy as colleagues celebrated one another’s accomplishments and shared pride in their collective contributions.
Continuing the spirit of innovation, the emcee then invited Ms Tracia Lam, Chief Financial Officer, to present the DUSTORS Awards, which recognise staff who streamline workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive meaningful change through creative solutions. The Emcee Singapore spotlighted projects such as “From Pilot to Practice: The EPIC EVS Module,” “Utilising Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for Emergency Trolley Electronic Checklist,” and “EFAR Ambulance Booking via FormSG,” all of which demonstrated the hospital’s commitment to smarter, more effective operations. A special mention was also made by the Emcee Singapore to honour Yuan Peng, recipient of the DUSTORS Dynamo Award, for his outstanding contributions across multiple initiatives that exemplified the spirit of continuous improvement at IMH.
After the series of award presentations, the Emcee Singapore invited members of the Senior Management team on stage for a group photo with all the recipients, capturing a powerful moment of unity and shared achievement. The atmosphere in the hall was filled with pride and encouragement as the emcee concluded the morning’s celebration, reinforcing IMH’s appreciation for the passion and perseverance of its people.
The afternoon continued with the Long Service Award Ceremony, guided by the Emcee Singapore, who led the audience in acknowledging the dedication of staff who have served between five and fifty years. The event began with an inspiring opening address by A/Prof Daniel Fung, Chief Executive Officer, followed by heartfelt tributes from senior leaders including Dr Swapna, Chief Medical Board; Ms Lim Yen Peng, Director, Allied Health; Mr Yong Keng Kwang, Assistant CEO; and Dr Dong Lijuan, Chief Nurse. The Emcee Singapore also led a solemn tribute to departed staff, marking a moment of remembrance and respect. As recipients shared their reflections and took group photos, the emcee’s closing words expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering commitment and contributions of all IMH staff, bringing the week’s celebrations to a meaningful and memorable close.
