Emcee Singapore - The Tampines North Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner 2026 was held on 13th February 2026 at Bliss Garden Restaurant, Singapore Expo, bringing together residents, grassroots leaders, sponsors and community partners for an evening of festive celebration and appreciation. There were 2 emcees including Emcee Singapore Ivan warmly welcomed guests upon arrival and guided them through registration and fringe activities, which included a caricature booth, Chinese calligraphy, and an instant photobooth, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere even before the formal programme began.
The evening commenced with an energetic Lion Dance entry to herald the arrival of the Guest-of-Honour, Mr David Neo, Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth, Senior Minister of State for Education, and Adviser to Tampines GROs. The Emcee Singapore Ivan introduced Mr Neo to enthusiastic applause as the lion and dragon troupe performed and conducted the traditional cai qing segment, symbolising prosperity and good fortune for the year ahead. The Emcee Singapore Ivan then invited Mr Wong See Choon, BBM, PBS, and Ms Fiann Yeow to deliver the welcome addresses on behalf of the organising committee, followed by the opening address by Mr David Neo, who extended his Chinese New Year greetings and reaffirmed the importance of unity and community spirit in Tampines North.
A meaningful segment of the evening saw the Emcee Singapore Ivan inviting Mr David Neo to present appreciation plaques to key sponsors, recognising their generous contributions and steadfast support. The sponsors honoured included Qianxi Group, Tampines N4 Shop & Hawker Association, Jonathan James, Kian Hup Construction Pte Ltd, Koufu Pte Ltd and Henley Huat Pte Ltd, with special mentions given to additional contributors. This segment underscored the strong partnerships that support grassroots initiatives and community engagement efforts.
The celebration continued with a mass lo hei and celebratory toast led by Mr David Neo, with the Emcee Singapore Ivan guiding VIPs and members of the working committee on stage to usher in prosperity together. The atmosphere was filled with festive cheer as guests participated in the auspicious tossing of ingredients accompanied by well wishes for abundance, harmony, and success in the coming year. The Emcee Singapore Ivan then initiated a spirited “Yum Seng” further elevating the celebratory mood across the banquet hall.
Throughout the evening, the Emcee Singapore Ivan kept energy levels high with a variety of entertainment segments, including live singing performances, a ventriloquist puppet show, a vibrant belly and Chinese dance performance by the Shimmyrina troupe, and an impressive Bian Lian performance. Guests were also treated to multiple rounds of the Prosperity Draw, culminating in the grand prize presentation by Mr David Neo, which generated great excitement among attendees.
As the event drew to a close, the Emcee Singapore Ivan led a mass singing of “贺新年 (He Xin Nian),” encouraging guests to join in and celebrate together. The Tampines North Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner 2026 concluded on a joyful and harmonious note, reflecting the strong bonds within the Tampines North community and reinforcing the commitment of the Grassroots Organisations to foster unity, appreciation, and shared festive celebrations.
