Emcee - On a beautiful evening, 13th June 2026, the West Lawn at Gardens by the Bay transformed into a vibrant wonderland of laughter and togetherness for the PropNex x Families for Life Picnic and Movie Night. From the moment the gates opened, families streamed in with picnic mats in hand, ready for an evening of relaxation and fun. Emcee Ivan set the perfect tone early on, warmly welcoming everyone and guiding families to collect their goodie bags, grab refreshing drinks from Ribena, and let their little ones burn off energy at the bouncy castles before the main programme began.

The event was a heartfelt celebration of exactly what both PropNex and Families for Life stand for. Emcee Ivan highlighted that Families for Life is a national movement dedicated to strengthening family ties, believing that "Family Begins With Me" and celebrating the beautiful, everyday moments that make family life special. PropNex, Singapore’s largest listed real estate agency with a network of over 14,500 salespersons, joined this mission by using the event to showcase its commitment to community building—most notably through the PropNex Family Zone, an inclusive playground featuring a slide and sandpit located right behind the event space. Together, they created this night to remind everyone that family life isn't always picture-perfect, but it is always worth celebrating.

The energy on the West Lawn was electric as the stage programme kicked into high gear. Emcee Ivan kept the momentum going, introducing a spectacular circus performance that had jaws dropping, followed by lively stage games where enthusiastic volunteers competed for adorable PropNex Buddy Bear prizes. The atmosphere reached a fever pitch when Emcee Ivan invited everyone to stand up and welcome Becky Bunny, alongside PropNex’s beloved Buddy Bears, Pixie and Maxie. Leading a massive sing-along to the "I Value My Family" song, Emcee Ivan turned the lawn into a giant dance floor, proving that fun has no age limit.

A key highlight of the evening was the gracious appearance by a very special guest. Emcee Ivan formally invited Mr. Ismail Gafoor, the Executive Chairman of PropNex, to the stage. Before his welcome address, a group photograph was taken with the management team, capturing the spirit of partnership. Emcee Ivan then stepped back as Mr. Gafoor shared a few heartfelt words with the community. Following the speech, a lucky draw was held, adding an extra layer of excitement and rewarding some of the many families present for their support.

As night fell, it was time for the main attraction. Emcee Ivan guided everyone through a short break to top up on snacks and get comfortable, before transitioning seamlessly into the movie screening. In a touching moment, Emcee Ivan also gave a big shoutout to Gardens by the Bay for their generosity in providing IMBA Theatre vouchers in every goodie bag, allowing families to return for immersive art experiences like David Hockney: Bigger & Closer and Botero: A Life in Fullness. As the big screen lit up, Emcee Ivan bid a temporary farewell, telling everyone to enjoy the show and have a magical night.

As the credits rolled at 9pm, Emcee Ivan took the stage one final time to wrap up a truly wonderful evening. Emcee Ivan extended a heartfelt thank you to all the amazing partners, including Families for Life, PropNex, Suntory Ribena, and the stunning Gardens by the Bay for their generosity. Emcee Ivan reminded everyone to take care on their way home and to cherish the precious family moments they had just created, officially closing a perfect night of connection, community, and cinema under the stars.
