Emcee - On the evening of the event, emcee Ivan welcomed all employees, guests, and VIPs to the Avnet DD Programme 2026, held at a grand ballroom venue. Avnet, a global technology solutions company, organised this celebration to recognise and reward its Asia Pacific team for their outstanding contributions throughout the year. Emcee Ivan explained that Avnet specialises in connecting the world's leading technology manufacturers with a vast network of customers, offering expertise in electronic components, embedded solutions, and supply chain logistics. The celebration was also a platform to strengthen team spirit and showcase the creativity of its people, with VIPs including Mr Ken Arnold, Chief People Officer, and Ms Tan Aik Hoon, Regional President - South Asia, Korea and Avnet United, seated prominently at the VIP table as the emcee Ivan announced their arrival.
As guests registered and collected their door gifts, emcee Ivan kept the atmosphere lively, reminding everyone to take photos at the photo booth before proceeding to their seats. Emcee Ivan then introduced the grand march-in of the Apex members, followed by a welcome speech delivered by Mr Ken Arnold and Ms Tan Aik Hoon, who shared Avnet's commitment to innovation and employee development. Emcee Ivan smoothly transitioned into announcing the start of dinner, after which the much-anticipated Employees Monochrome March-In took place, featuring nine teams dressed in coordinated black, white, or monochrome themes. Throughout the evening, emcee Ivan conducted several lucky draw segments, giving away attractive prizes to lucky employees while maintaining high energy and engagement.
Emcee Ivan later hosted the Supermodel segment, where team members walked the catwalk wearing costumes creatively made from or attached with materials representing their respective business units. Emcee Ivan interviewed each model after their catwalk, drawing out stories behind their designs. This was followed by the presentation of Best Dressed Individual Awards, including Noir Icon for all-black outfits, Blanc Beau for all-white, Chic in Contrast for black-and-white combinations, as well as Best Makeup and Best Accessories, with emcee Ivan calling each winner to the stage. Emcee Ivan then led a drinking game that had the entire ballroom cheering and laughing. Later, Mr Ken Arnold presented the Monochrome March and Table Couture awards, while Mr Welcome Wang, VP, Human Resources, APAC, presented the Supermodel awards, all announced by emcee Ivan. The evening concluded with a high-energy mass dance and soft toy tossing led by emcee Ivan followed by Ms Tan Aik Hoon presenting awards to the Soda Pop dance teams and the Best Dancer Award, before emcee Ivan announced the final lucky draw winners and invited the organising committee on stage for a group photo to close the night.
