Guiding the entire event with energy and heartfelt sincerity was emcee Ivan, who ensured every platform worker felt seen and celebrated from the moment they stepped through the doors. Emcee Ivan warmly welcomed Mr. Jagathishwaran Rajo, who serves as the Grassroots Adviser to Aljunied GRC Grassroots Organisations (Eunos), and also holds important roles as the Assistant Director of NTUC Freelancer Department and Executive Secretary for several professional associations. Mr. Jagathishwaran took time to personally engage with platform workers at the various partner booths, listening to their experiences and posing for photos captured by his media team. Other partners like SkillsFuture Singapore ran a lucky draw with attractive prizes, GSK educated on shingles and RSV prevention, and Strides provided fuel credits for those signing up on the spot. CPF contribution awareness was another focus, explaining recent changes in transition support and enhanced contribution rates for platform workers under the new Platform Workers Act of 2025. Emcee Ivan also touched on future topics like autonomous vehicle technology and alternative job pathways, reassuring the workers that NTUC is thinking ahead to protect their livelihoods. A lively lucky draw added an element of excitement, and emcee Ivan made sure every winner received a hearty round of applause.
