Emcee - The community of Segar Meadows came alive on 25th October 2025 for the highly anticipated Zhenghua - Segar Meadows Halloween Frights & Fun event. Emcee Mevis warmly welcomed residents and families, setting the stage for an evening brimming with laughter, spooky thrills, and neighbourly spirit. Her engaging presence kept the audience excited as the crowd gathered to kick off the night’s Halloween celebration.

The evening began with a burst of youthful energy as the Emcee Mevis introduced enchanting dance performances by the children of Artemis Preschool and Little Foot Print. Their lively routines filled the stage with joy and colour, delighting parents and guests alike. Guided by Emcee Mevis, the program flowed smoothly into interactive stage games that encouraged audience participation and created an atmosphere of friendly competition and fun.

A highlight of the night was the arrival of Mr Edward Chia, Guest of Honour and Member of Parliament for the Zhenghua Division of Holland–Bukit Timah GRC. Emcee Mevis invited Mr Chia on stage to deliver his address at the 457A Hall, where he commended the community for its strong spirit and the organisers for bringing residents together through such inclusive and engaging festivities.

As the evening continued, Emcee Mevis announced the much-anticipated Haunted House experience. For younger children aged six and below, a gentler version ran between 7:45 pm and 8:15 pm—filled with Halloween charm but free from frights—before resuming as a full spooky adventure for older participants. Guests also enjoyed carnival game booths, trick-or-treat stations, and a themed photobooth, while laughter and chatter echoed through the venue.

Emcee Mevis then invited everyone to enjoy a captivating magic show, which mesmerized both children and adults with its blend of mystery and humour. As the night drew to a close, cheers erupted when the emcee hosted the Best Dressed Contest, celebrating the most creative and spooky costumes of the evening. From tiny pumpkins to ghoulish ghosts, every participant showcased their festive flair and community spirit.

Thanks to the infectious energy of Emcee Mevis, the presence of Guest of Honour Mr Edward Chia, and the efforts of organisers and volunteers, Zhenghua - Segar Meadows Halloween Frights & Fun concluded as a memorable evening filled with laughter, connection, and the true essence of community celebration.
