Emcee - The Emcee welcomed all 100 guests to the CSC Annual Dinner 2025, themed Back to School, transforming the Tanglin Ballroom into a cheerful, nostalgic setting filled with colour and excitement. As guests enjoyed the pre-event activities and photobooth, the Emcee introduced the evening’s programme and highlighted the purpose of the celebration — to honour camaraderie, recognise dedication, and celebrate the organisation’s achievements. With everyone settled in, the Emcee invited Managing Director, Ms Agnes Chen, to deliver her opening speech, followed by the spirited Yum Seng toast that officially launched the night’s festivities.
To bring the room to life, the emcee introduced the first round of interactive games, beginning with a light-hearted icebreaker that encouraged guests to mingle and have fun. The Emcee then guided the crowd into the Pass the Parcel challenge, keeping the energy lively as each table worked together in hopes of winning the prizes. As dinner service commenced, the Emcee ensured a smooth transition into the evening’s musical segment with the first set by the live band, creating a warm and festive dining atmosphere.
A key highlight of the night came as the Emcee led the Long Service Awards, honouring employees who had reached milestones of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35 years. The Emcee acknowledged the dedication and contributions of each award recipient, while presenters including Managing Director Ms Agnes Chen, Ng Siw Thing, Melissa Lee and Raj Keloth took the stage to congratulate and recognise their achievements. Despite some recipients being unable to attend, the Emcee ensured each individual was celebrated, including those featured through special video messages. A group photo for all recipients followed, with the Emcee inviting everyone onstage to commemorate the moment.
The Emcee kept the evening vibrant with more team-based activities, hosting the Human Treasure Hunt and Drinking Relay, both of which filled the ballroom with laughter and spirited competition. As the band returned for their second set, guests enjoyed another musical interlude and requested for encore. Each segment saw the Emcee maintaining engagement, humour, and a lively pace.
As the celebration neared its finale, the Emcee welcomed W&D Chairlady, Ms Lynette Chuah, to the stage for an appreciation speech that acknowledged the committees and teams who helped bring the event to life. The Emcee then launched the Best Dressed Awards, where one male, one female and six consolation winners were selected to perform to the song Shake It Off. Guests cheered and sang along with the contestants. After the winners were decided by the Emcee, all contestants collected their prizes as they left the stage.
To close the night, the Emcee thanked all staff for their enthusiasm and participation, wishing everyone a wonderful end to the year. The CSC Annual Dinner 2025 – Back to School concluded with music, laughter, and a joyful sense of community — a memorable evening that perfectly captured the spirit of appreciation and celebration.
