Emcee - The grand celebration of Scientific & Industrial Instrumentation Pte Ltd’s 50th Anniversary marked a significant milestone for the company, honouring five decades of innovation and excellence. The evening began as guests arrived at York Hotel, where the Emcee welcomed everyone with warmth and professionalism, setting an elegant tone for the Golden Jubilee celebration. The event officially commenced with a corporate video that highlighted the company’s journey, achievements, and contributions to the industry over the years, before the emcee invited CEO Mr Melvin Tan to the stage to deliver his welcome address. His inspiring words reflected on the company’s growth and the dedication of the people who made it possible.


Following the speech, the Emcee guided guests into the dinner segment, creating a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere as attendees mingled and dined. The highlight of the evening came when the emcee invited Mr Melvin Tan back on stage to present the Long Service Awards, recognising employees who had served the company for 5, 10, and 25 years. Each recipient was honoured with a symbolic gold bar, signifying loyalty and commitment, followed by a group photo with the CEO to commemorate the proud moment.


The Emcee then led the audience through a series of exciting lucky draws and engaging games. Mr Louis Leow, Executive Director of Supratechnic SII, and Ms Sue Lim, Chief Operating Officer, presented the early round of draws for guests and staff respectively. Laughter and cheers filled the room as participants enjoyed fun activities such as Guess the Song and the Drinking Relay Game, all guided enthusiastically by the Emcee The spirit of celebration continued with the final round of draws presented by Mr Melvin Tan, CEO, and Ms Angie Ng, Head of Finance and Property, where lucky winners took home top prizes, including one of the company’s own products.


The Emcee directed the event to conclude on a joyful and memorable note. The evening not only celebrated SII’s 50 remarkable years in science and industry but also recognised the people who have been instrumental in its success, reinforcing a shared sense of pride and unity as the company moves confidently into its next chapter.
