Emcee - The Heartbeat@Bedok Chinese New Year Celebration 2026 was held on 07th February 2026 at the Heartbeat@Bedok Atrium, bringing residents and families together for a vibrant afternoon of festive performances, interactive activities and community bonding. The Emcee warmly welcomed guests to the celebration organised by the People’s Association and Heartbeat@Bedok, setting a joyous tone for the day while introducing the wide range of programmes and experiences available for all ages.
The Emcee highlighted the exciting stage programme, which featured an energetic Lion and Dragon Dance performance by Hoon Sun Sports Club, followed by a powerful Daiko Drum performance by the Kampong Chai Chee Community Club Daiko Group. A Chinese Dance segment further captivated the audience with graceful and culturally rich presentations that showcased themes of resilience, harmony and joyful celebration. These performances were well received and created a lively atmosphere across the atrium.
A key highlight of the celebration was the presence of Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Digital Development and Information and Ministry of Health, and Grassroots Adviser to Kampong Chai Chee GROs. The Emcee formally welcomed SMS Tan Kiat How to the event, where he delivered his Chinese New Year greetings and opening remarks, extending well wishes to residents and reaffirming the importance of community unity and togetherness.
Beyond the stage, the Emcee encouraged residents to explore the wide variety of festive activities and carnival games available throughout the atrium. Families participated in hands-on craft stations such as paper puppets, zodiac clay figurines, DIY finger puppets, silkscreen bookmark printing, and personalised keychain making, while game stations including coin toss, orange toss, red packet scoop, prosperity toss and match-the-zodiac provided fun-filled moments for both children and adults.
The Emcee also guided residents to enjoy festive treats such as love letters and ice cream, snap photos with the Ola mascot and take part in a quiz segment with prizes to be won. PAssion Card members were reminded to scan the PAssion CARES QR code to earn yuu points, further enhancing engagement throughout the event.
As the celebration drew to a close, the Emcee thanked residents for their enthusiastic participation and wished everyone a healthy, prosperous and joyful Lunar New Year. The Heartbeat@Bedok Chinese New Year Celebration 2026 concluded on a high note, reinforcing Heartbeat@Bedok’s role, as part of the People’s Association, in fostering strong community ties and meaningful festive experiences for residents.
