Emcee Singapore - Semiconductor Technologies & Instruments hosted its Chinese New Year Celebration 2026 at the Stamford Ballroom, Fairmont Singapore, welcoming more than 280 employees to an evening inspired by the “Shanghai Night” theme. The celebration served as an opportunity for employees and leadership to gather, reflect on achievements and celebrate the Lunar New Year together. The programme commenced with Emcee Ivan welcoming guests and acknowledging the presence of CEO Mr. Teng Choon Hwee, followed by a recorded message from Chairman Mr. Zhao Yi who shared his appreciation and festive greetings with the organisation.

During the evening, Emcee Singapore Ivan introduced the awards presentation segment led by CEO Mr. Teng Choon Hwee, recognising employees and teams who demonstrated exceptional dedication, collaboration and performance. Awards presented included the Best Emerging Talent Award, Best Elite Award for both employees and supervisors, the Frontline Excellence Award and the Outstanding Team Award. These recognitions reflect the organisation’s strong emphasis on operational excellence, leadership development and cross-functional teamwork.

The celebration continued with dinner and the traditional Loh Hei prosperity toss, where Emcee Ivan invited guests to participate in the symbolic gesture of welcoming abundance and success for the year ahead. The evening programme also featured entertainment segments, interactive stage activities and a lucky draw that engaged attendees throughout the celebration. Senior leadership including Vice Presidents Melvin Ng (Product), James Ang (Manufacturing), Lee Kok Cheng (Finance), and Junny Foong (Admin, HR and IT) were present to celebrate alongside employees, reinforcing the company’s culture of appreciation and unity.

To conclude the evening, Emcee Singapore Ivan invited the management team on stage to join the closing segment of the programme. The celebration ended with a balloon toss and money toss finale, bringing an energetic and memorable close to the event.
