Emcee Singapore - NSEWL Appreciation Day 2026 was held at Safra Choa Chu Kang's Grand Ballroom, bringing together about 400 staff members for a meaningful afternoon dedicated to recognising and celebrating their contributions under the theme Honouring Our People. Emcee Ivan welcomed attendees as they arrived and set a warm and respectful tone for the event, reinforcing the appreciation message behind the tagline Behind Every Journey, There's You as colleagues gathered to celebrate collective achievements.

As the programme commenced, Emcee Singapore Ivan guided guests into the official opening following the appreciation video and invited the Line Head to deliver the opening address. The speech reflected on teamwork, dedication, and the importance of every role within the North South East West Line, with Emcee Ivan ensuring a smooth transition into the celebratory segments while maintaining an engaging and professional flow.

 

Emcee​ Ivan then facilitated the Individual Award Presentation segment, recognising 33 award recipients for their outstanding contributions. Awards were presented by senior management including Mr Max Tay, Deputy Director Control Operations, Mr Vincent Lee, Deputy Director Train Operations, Mr Lim Meng Teck, Deputy Director Station Operations, Mr Brandon Kuah, Director Signal & Communications Maintenance, Mr Lawrence Lim, Deputy Director Operations Support, and Mr Low Choon Keong, Director Rolling Stock Maintenance, with Emcee Singapore Ivan managing stage flow and acknowledgements seamlessly.

Following the individual awards, Emcee Ivan introduced the team award presentation segment, led by Mr Teo Wee Kiat, Head North South East West Line, where collective excellence and collaboration were recognised. This segment highlighted the importance of teamwork across departments, with Emcee Ivan maintaining a respectful and celebratory atmosphere throughout the presentations.

The programme continued with entertainment and engagement segments, where Emcee Singapore Ivan introduced a magic performance by a train crew member and live musical performances, followed by interactive games that encouraged audience participation. These segments added energy and enjoyment to the afternoon while strengthening camaraderie among staff members.

As the event progressed towards its finale, Emcee Ivan led the lucky draw segment, including the presentation of the top prizes by Mr Alvin Kek, Group Chief Commuter Engagement & Service Excellence Officer and Senior Vice President, Rail Operations. Emcee Singapore Ivan then facilitated a group photo moment, capturing the spirit of appreciation and unity shared by all attendees.
