Emcee Singapore - The Little Steps to Great Health 2025 event, organised by KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital (KKH), was held at One Punggol, Celebration Square, on 8 November 2025. The event was posted twice on One Punggol's Facebook here and here.
The Emcee Singapore, Ivan, warmly welcomed families and visitors to a meaningful day dedicated to health, wellness, and learning. The event celebrated Singapore’s 60th birthday and was supported by partner institutions including SingHealth, Sengkang General Hospital, SingHealth Polyclinics, and various community partners. The Emcee Singapore, Ivan encouraged guests to explore the educational booths, take part in interactive activities, and enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere.
The event was graced by Guest of Honour Dr Janil Puthucheary, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment, and Advisor to Punggol Grassroots Organisation. The Emcee Singapore, Ivan invited Dr Janil to deliver his opening remarks following a welcome address by Professor Thoon Koh Cheng, Chairman, Division of Medicine, KKH. The Emcee Singapore, Ivan also introduced other distinguished guests from KKH and SingHealth, including Ms Wong Sook Thow, Chief Nurse; Ms Yvonne Then, Chief Communications Officer; A/Prof Ng Yong Hong, Chief Risk Officer; A/Prof Suzanna Sulaiman, Deputy Chairman, Division of Obstetrics and Gynaecology; Ms Sally Oh, Organising Chairperson and Director of Patient Support Services; and Ms Stephanie Teo Swee Hong, Deputy Group Chief Nurse (Care Integration and Community Nursing). Their presence added significance to the celebration.
Throughout the day, the Emcee Singapore, Ivan kept the programme lively and engaging, introducing a variety of performances and informative sessions. Families were treated to a delightful performance by the children of Little Skool House, followed by an energising band performance by Project Jalan Jalan. The Emcee Singapore, Ivan seamlessly guided the audience through expert talks by KKH specialists on topics such as pregnancy wellness, eczema care, and child safety. Visitors also had the opportunity to participate in booth activities and enjoy the bouncy castle, ensuring that both adults and children had an enjoyable experience.
Adding to the excitement, Deputy Prime Minister Mr Gan Kim Yong, Minister for Trade and Industry and Advisor to Punggol Grassroots Organisation, made a special appearance in the afternoon. The Emcee Singapore, Ivan welcomed DPM Gan warmly and invited him on stage for a group photo and the presentation of a token of appreciation. His presence further underscored the event’s importance in promoting community health and wellness.
As the event drew to a close, the Emcee Singapore, Ivan thanked all participants, partners, and guests for their support and enthusiasm. Families continued to explore the booths, complete their game cards, and redeem goodie bags, wrapping up a day filled with learning, laughter, and togetherness. Through the emcee’s cheerful guidance, Little Steps to Great Health 2025 successfully inspired attendees to take small but meaningful steps towards healthier living.
