Emcee of Singapore - The Toa Payoh Central Mid-Autumn Celebrations 2025, organised by the Toa Payoh Central Citizens’ Consultative Committee, took place on 4th October 2025 at the Toa Payoh Central Amphitheatre. The event brought together residents, families, and community partners for an evening of festive joy and cultural appreciation under the theme “Together We Shine as One.” The Emcee of Singapore, Ivan kicked off the celebration by warmly welcoming everyone to the amphitheatre, where the venue buzzed with excitement as attendees explored game booths, fringe activities, and photo opportunities with mascots. The Emcee of Singapore, Ivan highlighted the festival’s significance in fostering community bonds and encouraged residents to participate in various activities throughout the night.
The stage programme began with vibrant song remix performances by Miss Alicia Tan and her team, followed by elegant Chinese dance presentations that captured the beauty and spirit of the Mid-Autumn tradition. The Emcee of Singapore, Ivan maintained an energetic flow as the evening continued with delightful performances by PCF Sparkletots Preschool children, whose enthusiasm charmed the crowd. The highlight of the night was the arrival of Mr Cai Yinzhou, Grassroots Adviser to Toa Payoh Central GROs, who was warmly welcomed by the Emcee of Singapore, Ivan and the audience. Mr Cai delivered his welcome address before joining the representative from ERA for a cheque presentation, after which the emcee invited him to officiate the evening’s launching ceremony.
The Emcee of Singapore, Ivan then led residents into the much-anticipated lantern procession, a symbolic activity that illuminated the night as families walked together through the heart of Toa Payoh. Upon returning to the amphitheatre, the Emcee of Singapore, Ivan gathered the community for a memorable group photo before the festivities continued. Spectators were treated to a dazzling LED lion dance performance and a captivating live band segment by Weekends@78, featuring Janice and Victor. As the evening drew to a close, the emcee introduced the final act — a Children’s Comedy Magic Show — which filled the venue with laughter and wonder. To conclude the night, the Emcee of Singapore, Ivan expressed heartfelt appreciation to all guests, volunteers, performers, and sponsors for contributing to the success of the event, leaving residents with fond memories of a truly joyous Mid-Autumn celebration.
