Emcee - Public Transport Workers’ Appreciation Day 2025 took place at the Wellness Village in Tampines MRT Station on 25 October 2025. The event was graced by Guest of Honour, Mr Baey Yam Keng, Minister of State for Transport, and attended by Mr Ng Lang, Chief Executive of the Land Transport Authority, Mr Leow Yew Chin, Chief Executive of the Public Transport Council, and Mr Jeffrey Sim, Group Chief Executive Officer of SBS Transit. The Emcee welcomed all guests and set an appreciative tone for the morning’s celebration.


The Emcee invited Mr Jeffrey Sim to deliver his opening remarks, followed by the highlight of the event — the presentation of appreciation tokens by the Minister to four profiled public transport workers for their dedication and service. The Emcee then facilitated group photo sessions with the Minister, VIPs, and award recipients, capturing the spirit of unity and gratitude shared among the industry.


To conclude, the Emcee guided the Minister and guests on a brief exhibition tour showcasing SBS Transit’s safety initiatives, wellness programmes, and worker profiles. The event ended on a warm note, with the Emcee thanking everyone for their contributions to Singapore’s public transport community.
