Emcee Ivan set the tone early in the day, warmly welcoming all participants and staff members as they reported to their respective mass activity areas and sporting venues at 8am, reminding everyone to stay hydrated and to refer to the ushers or site maps for directions. ActiveSG, as Singapore's national movement for sport, works tirelessly to make sports accessible to all Singaporeans by managing a network of sports centres, developing community programmes, and creating inclusive opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to lead active and healthy lifestyles. Emcee Ivan continued to energise the crowd throughout the morning, moving between venues to engage participants with encouraging words such as "How are you feeling?" and "Great effort!" while reminding spectators to cheer loudly and participants to pace themselves.

The Inter-Zone Games served as a meaningful occasion for ActiveSG to bring together its staff from various zones and divisions, celebrating their collective hard work and commitment to promoting grassroots sports participation across the nation. As mass activities such as Zumba, Kkardio, Tai Chi, Myofascial Release, Supafresh, and Rummikub commenced alongside sports competitions including badminton, basketball, futsal, captain's ball, pickleball, and swimming, Emcee Ivan announced key break timings for refreshments at the foyer, pool area, and level 2 courts, ensuring that everyone took well-deserved rest and hydration breaks. The morning's energy culminated in an exciting finale at the Level 2 sports hall, where Senior Management Team members including Chief Executive Officer of Sport Singapore Mr. Alan Goh, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr. Toh Boon Yi, Chief of ActiveSG Mr. Tan Hock Leong, Chief of Transformation Office Ms. Mary Yong, and Chief of Strategy Group Ms. Lee Huei Chern arrived to a warm welcome orchestrated by Emcee Ivan, who invited the CEO to deliver an inspiring speech on stage. Emcee Ivan then invited Mr. Alan Goh to remain on stage to flag off the much-anticipated three-way tug-of-war competition, which carried double points and gave every zone a fighting chance to clinch the overall AIG 2026 title. As the matches unfolded on three ropes simultaneously, Emcee Ivan announced the results after each round, built suspense for the finals, and later invited Chief of ActiveSG Mr. Tan Hock Leong to conduct the flag-off for the final round, keeping the energy and excitement at its peak throughout.

Following the conclusion of the tug-of-war finals, Emcee Ivan guided the transition to the premium distribution segment, instructing all staff members to proceed to Level 1 foyer to collect their exclusive ActiveSG gym bags and towels, with a clear three-step process involving a QR code scan and SingPass login to serve as attendance verification. Emcee Ivan closed the morning segment by thanking every participant for making the ActiveSG Inter-Zone Games 2026 a tremendous success, reminding everyone to look forward to the staff dinner later that evening at Orchard Hotel.
